Hi Everyone,

Here's a restoration of a Verithin (66 i believe). Long story, but a friend of mine fell off a chair and onto his guitar back in 1999. It's sat under a bed broken until now.

Much respect to Andy Thompson of T-Guitars in Melbourne.

It still needs a little more work, but is almost there.

Anthony.

Hi Anthony
Thanks for the link to the pics. The guitar is a straight Verithin, not a '66.

I can't see the serial number on the label, but often the numbers on the neck joints are the serial number. If so then 2062 places it as a 1963 guitar, the pups would also suggest that sort of date.

A look at the codes on the vol/tone pots would also help with the date.

Further down the page on FB there is a pic of a number of guitars. The one circled on the left s a 4575 and the one on the right may be another Verithin, do you have any details of them?

Hey Geoff,

Thanks for that. I'll be getting it back in the new year and can check the serial.
The two others in that photo are my verithin bass (649 already listed on your page).
The guitar is not mine though, but could ask my friend for the details. He's had it since around 1998/99

Anthony.
